Mass media has the ability to continuously alter our memories and perceptions. Celebrities and pop culture are often thought as fleeting moments that attract media attention and in return capture our imagination.

A list of deceased celebrities were made from memory. Photographic images of the celebrities were made by pressing the negative and photo-sensitive paper against the surface of the TV screen. Images momentarily exposed to the television light were then finally developed in a darkroom.

This work confronts the apparent pervasiveness of pop culture in our everyday lives, politics, economics, aesthetics, morality, ethics. Our inability to escape exposure to the media leaves no part of us untouched, unaffected, unaltered.
